BULAWAYO: The city's eastern suburbs will experience water cuts for more close to ten hours today, authorities said in a statement yesterday.
THE CITIZEN BULLETIN, October 3 — Emergency repairs on a pipeline that supplies water to the Tuli Reservoir may impact up to 18 suburbs in the Bulawayo metro area today.
The city of Bulawayo announced in a public notice yesterday that work on the 30 inch pipeline would commence today, October 3. Repairs are scheduled to occur between 08:00 and 16:00.
The release stated that access to water may be interrupted in the following suburbs: Manningdale, Matsheumhlope, Khumalo, Northend, Buenavista, Burnside, Parklands, City Centre, Esigodini, Waterford, Ilanda, Mahatshula, Riverside, Lochview, Killarney, How mine, and Douglasdale.
Residents are requested to conserve water until further notice.
