The torrential rains which began almost a month ago in most parts of the country also threw traffic movement out of gear due to water-logging in most parts of the town.
The rains caused a chaotic situation with huge traffic blocks on many roads as some vehicles got stuck on muddy roads while some were swept away by the mini floods.
